Lumpy Boob!

My DD is 6months as is pretty much exclusively BF. However she's recently been poorly... she suckled constantly so my boobs are now on overdrive. One has gone really lumpy and really hurts, I've tried to get her to feed on it and also expressing from it but there doesnt seem to be any milk! Any advice about how to ease the pain or should I just go to the doctor?!

Hi,
Is your breast red or inflamed as well? I would say keep trying to feed and express off that side. Massage breast at same time, change position dd feeds from to try and empty different part of breast.
Take some brufen to help with inflammation.
Do you have a temp? Are you feeling fluey?

If not resolving in next couple of feeds or you start to feel unwell, I would ring gp in case of mastitis.
