Dd is 13 weeks and 'asks' to feed in day every 2-3 hrs but only feeds for 5-10 mins. At night she feeds around 8 and then is was 2am and 5am but last 2 nights it has been 12am, 3am 5am adding in an extra feed and she feeds for 20 mins each time. Why are we going backwards. Was thinking as she can go 8pm until 2am to try and hold off any earlier feeds butnit is so much quicker too just feed her but she is a big girl on the 75 centile so maybe she is a bit greedy/ overfed as I fed her everytime she looks for it??!!

she is not being "greedy", really - if she wants to feed, you must let her.

the night thing could be for any number of reasons - she is developing and needs more food. However, as she develops, she is noticing more about the world around her during the day, which at the moment is more interesting to her than food!

it really is just a phase - its not going backwards, its just different and appropriate for her stage of development at this point in time Smile

it is exhausting but you may just have to wait it out, and she may go back to only two night wakings, or she may sleep through for a while.

But don't be surprised if the next developmental spurt happens, and her "routine" changes again.

Your mantra? This too shall pass...Smile
