Nuk teats and Avent bottles

Hello,

An old question that seems to have had conflicting responses so I wanted to ask it again clearly.

Is anyone currently successfully using NUK teats with Avent bottles (the ones with the ring)?

I am trying to use them but the wide-neck latex teats are slightly too small. They fit, but I am certain that they would leak badly. One sharp tug and the whole teat pops through the hole in the lid. To me this constitutes "not working". Before I splash out on silicone teats to see if they are any different I wanted to know if I am likely to find success.

thanks

At nursery they had the NUK teats in Avent bottles but DS (9 months) kept pushing/pulling the teats (both the latex and silicone) from the bottles...we've now given them a spare NUK bottle to avoid one of the nursery staff getting soaked in EBM each day!

At home we use NUK teats and bottles when DS is home with DH so no problems thankfully.

Thank you. I don't much like the sound of teats coming out completely mid feed. Time for plan B.
