Cluster feeding at 3am - HELP!

Hi, wasn't sure whether to post in Sleep or here:

DD is 2 weeks old and seems to have day and night confused - she sleeps for long stretches (3-4 hours+) during the day and then starts cluster feeding hourly in the late evening, normally around 10/11pm and continuing til 3/4am when she sleeps through til around 8am.

Is there anything I can do to change this around? I have a 23 month old to look after as well and 3-4 hours sleep a night isn't helping me look after them both Xmas Sad
I guess waking dd up more regularly for daytime feeds would be a solution, but she sleeps like a log - she's practically comatose in her upright bouncy chair with lights on, TV blaring, ds banging his drum.... the only reliable way to wake her is to take her to a cooler part of the house and strip her off, but this really distresses her so I try and avoid unless she's been asleep much longer than 4 hours.

Any advice/tips would be very welcome. TIA.

I think for a 2 week old this is pretty normal, sorry, but the good news is, it will get better!!

You are right, waking her for feeds during the day may help. A MW friend of mine said don't let them go longer than 3 hrs in the day without a feed in order to help them go longer at night.

This too shall pass!
