Bottle feeders-when did you get your first period after childbirth?

Just as above really. I had a tiny 'period' at 6 weeks after giving birth which in retrospect I don't know really whether it was a period or not. I haven't had a period since and DD is 15 weeks. Am freaking out a bit!

I barely stopped bleeding for the first few months after having dc2 (bottle fed from day 3).

I had lochia but it stopped at about 4 weeks. I'm just surprised not to have a period really-and a bit worried, though I don't know exactly what about. Just feels wrong.

I stopped bleeding after about 3 weeks and had a "proper" period about 8 weeks after that.

I bf'd for only 10 days and didn't get my first period until ds was 5mo so dont think it sounds too bad. You could ask your hv if you are worried I suppose

I only exclusively BFd for 5 weeks and then mix fed from then on with formula being more frequent as the time went on. My period returned just before DD2 turned 6 months old.
