When did your period come back if you ebf?

Just that really. My son is now six months and just starting to try out food, chewing on crusts and having spoonfuls of our dinner mushed up. Can I expect my period to come back? I am in no rush as would like at least a couple of years before we have another.

14 months - basically as soon as we were down to 3 bfs a day

3months all 3 times, as soon as they went longer than 4hrs overnight.

Interested to read this as I was wondering if DS2 being nearly 9 months and me being period free still was OK. Seems it is.

23 months -- stopped feeding at night but still fed in the day and early morning. got pregnant the next month!

3 months period came back, ebf till 6 months. Only stopped bf at 22 months.

My Mum had no period at all inbetween me and my brother. She bf him till 18 months and only worked out she was pregnant with me as she felt me kick! Grin

3 months! and DS is now 11 months and he STILL doesn't sleep longer than 4 hours!

I'd only blooming well just stopped my post partum bleeding too.

s'not fair... Sad

5 months with DD but not until 9 1/2 months this time with DS. Both EBF but DS on less milk, more solids than DD was.

To my horror, my period came back last month [not happy]. DD just turned 5 months and is ebf
