Hi there, I'm not sure what to do. I've had to stop breastfeeding my 15month old son, he was only feeding at night, but about every 2 hours! So I put it down to comfort feeding & he was really starting to hurt me! so last night I stopped him feeding & it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be! He was asking for a drink in the night so I gave him water the once & he settled on that. then he kept stirring in the night but didn't take long to settle. This morning my breasts are engorged & sore as they are so full. Do I just leave them as my body needs to realise I'm not feeding any more or should I express a bit? Confused Thanks Katie

If you express a bit it would take longer for the milk to dry up, but stopping gradually may be easier. If you only express enough to make you comfortable?
