Hey Mummas,

I organised a fantastic breastfeeding flash mob in London back in the summer. Here is the link to the official video, I hope you enjoy & if so then please share!

No. If less people saw it as such a big deal organic, I suspect more people would bf because they'd stop seeing it as such an issue. I don't see it as a problem; I don't know anyone who does.

I think a lot of people need to get over themselves. Feeding your baby is the important thing. Option a; bf. Option b; ff. As long as you don't take option c and not actually feed the baby; you're probably doing it right.

I think breatsfeeding is a big deal!

I mean if the people around me didn't think that breastfeeding was a big deal I wouldn't be doing it. With out my partner supporting me and my family being knowledge and supportive, without the good health visitors and nurses, without the breastfeeding councilors and the other mums on here I might not have continued breastfeed.

My mother in law didn't have good support and she was unable to feed either of her sons. It is something she regrets and feels sad about 30 years later. So it is a big deal.

This doesn't mean I think that people that choose to formula feed are bad but to suggest breastfeeding isn't a big deal is just not OK.
