hi just wanted some advice really. have been able to pretty much ebf dd up till now yay! which has been great as couldnt do for as long as with ds.

she is now on solids which she takes really well. i will be back at work in jan so wanted to maybe replace a feed with ff but not sure which one or how much milk to give overall? right now she has:

7-8am breastfeed
8 ish breakfast, usually weetabix or porridge
12-1ish breastfeed and lunch, usually veg puree type thing or soft pasta
or finger food, toast etc
4-5ish sometimes breastfeed sometimes not but then tea of similar to lunch.
7pm ish last breastfeed with sometimes top ou of 6-8oz formula

does that sound enough?
she is always hungry for food and eats well and is happy and settled in between.

also she doesnt take water very well. have tried in a cup and with a spoon.
if i try it in the bottle when she realises not milk spits out nipple!

would be really greatful for any tips!!

Most formula fed babies her age would be having 3 7oz bottles a day. I would probably breastfeed morning and bedtime, and then either give a little snack mid-morning and a 7oz bottle mid-afternoon, or snack+3 or 4 oz bottle mid-morning and afternoon.

thats great, thanks! 3 bottles sounds like a good idea and the snack and bottle idea great too!
