Am I supposed to move on to the 'next stage' milk or is it just a marketting ploy? LO is 6 months.

it may be a marketing ploy but the follow on milk is cheaper and I did switch at 6 months because they had 2 tins for £9 on offer!!

It may be a terrible reason to change over but dd had no ill effects and it saved me a few pennies

It is a marketing ploy as they can't advertise formula for under 6 months but can if it is for 6 months+. However, I did switch when dd was about 8 months because it was cheaper and I could get advantage points from Boots. Don't bother after one though as it is O.K. to use cows milk - and this is much cheaper that formula - even if you buy organic!

How odd that it is cheaper.

I know, but it is. Think they are not allowed to discount normal stuff (like they can't advertise it) and you can get points etc on the follow on stuff. Oftn on offer in Sainsburys
