Down to twice a day.....if I just stop one day can I pump to reduce supply gradually?

That's the question really! I have done 14 months and am ready. I don't think LO will miss it much as evening feeds are now very quick. Mornings are longer but she LOVES her breakfast so will just skip to that.

Just wondering how full I can expect to get if I stop?

I stopped at 13 months (was just morning and night by this stage) due to me going in for surgery. I used the hosp pump a couple of times just to relieve the pressure a little and when I came home on Day 5 of no bf all I can say was that I was a bit uncomfortable for a few days. Obviously if you keep pumping your supply will continue for longer - so cold turkey may be the answer!!! Well it is Christmas!!

Don't know if this helps at all but my DD is 16 months. About a month ago I dropped her morning feed and replaced it with milk in a sippy cup (which she drinks a bit of but isn't really that fussed) she asked for my milk for 2 mornings and I just said 'not now'. Then last week I stopped he night feed, again offering sippy cup and tweaking bedtime routine slightly. I haven't felt uncomfortable at all and haven't felt the need to express. I am a bit amazed at how easy it has been to stop as we both loved it.
