My dd (6.5 months) has just started nursery and I am expressing so she can have 2 x milk feeds while she is there (10.30am and 2.30pm). I am managing to express about 10oz a day at work in 2 sessions, and hoped that this would be enough as I really don't want to start her on formula due to a family allergy history. She is also having 6-7 cubes of solids (veg or fruit) at 11.30am and 4-5 cubes at tea time.
Today, nursery gave her 5oz this morning and 7oz this pm, which they say she 'guzzled' down.
She is breastfed at 7am, 5pm, 6.30pm and 10pm in addition to the 2 feeds at nursery.
So.............am I ok to tell the nursery to only give her 5oz per feed, or should I be trying to pump more , or supplement with formula?????
Oh and she is being offered and taking a few oz of water during the day too.
