Mastitis?

My SIL text me last night to say she thought she had a blocked duct. She's text again this morning to say she's been feeling fluey in the night with a temp and chills. She says her breast is still sore. I've told her to get to the gp for antibiotics, any other advice? I've never had mastitis!

That is the best advice she needs AB's asap, I have had Mastitis a few times and the early you get treated the better - also she needs to keep feeding even though it is sore and I found a nice chilled savoy cabbage leaf in the bra very soothing (honestly) though the perfect imprint of the veiny leaf on my hot sore breast was a little disturbing

Thanks. GP has prescribed antibiotics and I've told her to get cabbage.
