11mo DD is EBF and has just got her top teeth as well as her bottom two. Is there anything I can do to stop her biting me?

Ask her! Do you think she'd be able to understand a very firm and clear 'DD, no. Don't bite Mummy'?

But if it's any consolation, my DD grew out of biting as soon as she became used to having teeth. It should pass.

I had this problem with my DD when she was about 7 months. I initially tried saying what I thought was a firm 'no' but this was just met with giggles! Hmm

What worked better was to immediately remove her each time she bit, and to sit her on the floor and ignore her for about 30 seconds. She fairly quickly got the message that biting= no milk and no attention, and stopped. She hasn't bitten since (now 10 months).

HTH, and Good Luck! :)

I did the same as Softsheen. My DD1 started getting teeth at 4 months. I only had to put her on the floor a couple of times and she seemed to get the message and never bit again. You have my sympathy it is sore.
