Is this ok?

I've been ill today and my parents have taken the DSs. DS2 is 4mo and has taken a bottle, but only once a few days ago.

I gave them some expressed milk, but apparently he's not had much. He's had some, just not all of it. There was about 6-7oz in total and he last had a feed from me at about half 11.

Mum said he'd been fine though, and quite happy. I'm just worried that he's hardly eaten today.

It's seems a bit silly, but almost seven hours on just a few oz doesn't seem like much.

He's back now, just fed off both sides, but it turns out he's has maybe half an oz. my parents were under strict instruction to bring him back if he was hungry/wouldn't take a bottle, but they say he's been fine (I believe them) it just seems such a long time to go without food.

Although he has been known to go 6 hours at night (very lucky me) so I suppose it's possible for him to go that long and be fine

He could have just have been hanging on for you to feed him, sometimes babies will do this when with people other than their main care givers (no matter how close they are to them).

As long as he is making up for it now, all will be well
