Heh. Have just realised I've managed a whole 7 months of EBF-ing.

Frankly I'm amazed. Only managed 8 days with DiddyDragon so it's a bit of a miracle that I've lasted this long with DiddyCakes.

Thing I've learned about breastfeeding - looking at the price of formula is a hell of an incentive to keep going!

Xmas Smile

Well done Grin Grin

Like you, I managed a short time with the first; still going at 18mths with no.2!

Amazing how time flies, isn't it? I've done nearly four months with my first baby, and I feel like we're only just getting started.

Well done Smile.

Thanks! I will admit to feeling fairly chuffed with myself.

it's brilliant Smile

Well done. I managed 2 weeks with ds1 and 4 weeks with ds2. I am now at almost 6 mths with dd, and going strong. She is a bottle refuser too, so no chance of giving up anyway Xmas Grin

I occasionally try to total up how much money I've saved on formula. It puts a smile on my face.

pipoca · 14/12/2011 20:48

Me too! Seven months today!!! Xmas Smile Managed 8 weeks of mixed feeding with DS 3 years ago.

MigGril · 15/12/2011 13:06

Well done. :-)

GetDownYouWillFall · 15/12/2011 22:20

another well done from me. I only managed 3 weeks with my DD, but have been exclusively breastfeeding DS for 3 months now and am so happy with myself (not in a smug way, just quietly pleased that it's working out this time). Smile And you're right formula is expensive, think of the money we've saved, not to mention all the benefits breastfeeding brings to our babies!
