Hi! Unfortunately sometimes ebf babies take a lot longer than one day to coax onto a bottle. There are lots of different teats you could try, but at this stage, maybe try a sippy cup? Also, some find it easier without mum in room and dp giving it. Good luck!

Hi
I had this battle with my DD - she was a bit younger.

We found NUK, latex teats work well, and as mapig mentions, its better if I am not in the room.

Have a good night

I found my DD took the bottle straight away aftre learning to hold onto a dummy, she doesnt have it much but just at those times when she wants to chew something or needs a little comfort suck...

The news you don't want to hear is that bf DS never agreed to drink from a bottle.
But the advice TikTok gave me at the time was to introduce it after he had had a small bf, because when hungry they will jut be distressed by a bottle, because they have no idea that it will satisfy thier hunger. But if you introduce a bottle for them to play and fuss with and experiemnt with sucking when they are awake, playful bit not hungry, they may discover that it does release the magic milk!

Good luck.

Just feed before you go out, leave bottle with MIL just in case as he may take it from her, but he's old enough to be jiggle distracted for a bit if he woun't. Oh and enjoy your time out :)
