This happens only at bedtime, my DS will take a full feed from each side, and then start serial side swapping- he will take about about 10 sucks from a side before unlatching (and will continue to unlatch immediately if I offer the same side), and once I offer the other side, he will again take a few sucks before unlatching to go on to the other side. He will do this about 3 times per side AFTER taking a full feed from each side.
Is this a supply issue? Or part of normal behaviour?
We are well into weaning, but he is rather erratic in his solid intake, and may take a huge helping one day and eat almost nothing the next. We are feeding on demand still, and he keeps dropping day time feeds (as there are so many other fun things he'd rather be doing), but will feed at night ( at least 2 good feeds).
Am I doing anything wrong? Too much solids perhaps causing supply to drop too quickly? I am trying to follow his signals with weaning- not blw, but he makes it very obvious when he has had enough and there's no way you can get him to open his mouth to feed him if he's not inclined to... Any one else had this happen?
