Ds 8mo on aptamil 1, I intended to keep him in that till cows milk as hv said hardly different to stage 3, just has bit more iron which if varied diet doesnt need
However yesterday bought aptamil and it's gone from 8.99-9.49 a tub!!
At same time hipp organic level 3 was on offer at 549, 800g vs 900g but even so!
So I bought a box to try but now I'm being all pfb thinking I shouldn't have bought it because it was cheaper etc
Will ds notice? Will it matter
Anyone use hipp or not and is it ok- why so much cheaper??
Thanks

I swapped to cow and gate follow on from aptamil as it was cheaper - just watch with the follow on milk as it can be constipating although my ds didnt suffer with it

I have Hipp but never used it - it would have been my formula of choice if necessary IYSWIM.

Changing is fine if baby is okay with it.

Change is fine, but introduce it gradually by combining the two, with less and less aptamil over time. Otherwise the change in the flavour may put your DS off.

My DD had to get used to different forumula. We were in a country where it couldn't be guaranteed that you'd get the same one each time.
There would be some for sale, but not necessarily the one she'd had before.

DD was mostly BF but had occasional bottle from 9-10 months and i used a mix of hipp and aptamil (couldn't always get hipp locally) should be fine. hipp seems to taste beter imho (i accidentally tried both and aptamil made me retch)
