Ds 8mo on aptamil 1, I intended to keep him in that till cows milk as hv said hardly different to stage 3, just has bit more iron which if varied diet doesnt need
However yesterday bought aptamil and it's gone from 8.99-9.49 a tub!!
At same time hipp organic level 3 was on offer at 549, 800g vs 900g but even so!
So I bought a box to try but now I'm being all pfb thinking I shouldn't have bought it because it was cheaper etc
Will ds notice? Will it matter
Anyone use hipp or not and is it ok- why so much cheaper??
Thanks

Yes, there's no problem with changing as long as your DS gets on well with it. No idea why Hipp is cheaper but it's absolutely fine :)

Yes not a problem.

IMO Hipp and Aptamil are very similar. Although the bags of hipp instead of the tub with the spoon leveller on the inside are irritating.

Changing is fine. I did it a lot trying to find a formula to suit DS2 in the beginning.

And Hipp went up £1 in Asda last week!! Still bought it though as it's what DS2 has, and it's still one of the cheapest. Hipp are supposed to be bringing out proper boxes next month so that may be why they increased the price?

And I buy Asda own wipes as they're 25p a pack and I go through wipes like you wouldn't believe, anyway, they were 46p last week!! Still cheap though.

But crikey it better not be nappies next week Xmas Grin

I changed from Aptimal to C&G because of the price - they are basically the same milk (made by the same company) but Aptimal is more expensive as it is their premium/middle class brand whereas C&G is the ordinary brand!
