13mo suddenly obsessed with breastfeeding

I'm wondering if it's because I've returned to work but DD is obsessed with breastfeeding at the moment. Today she has had about six feeds already and hardly any solids and the same yesterday.

She is just getting over a horrendous cold but she's not even interested in her favourite foods or fruit.

I'm concerned how she will be tomorrow when she's back with the childminder. This weekend she has insisted on being fed to sleep for her daytime naps too although we haven't done that for at least six months.

She seems happy enough the rest of the time when she's not trying to rip my clothes off so just wondering if anyone had any suggestions why this might be happening?

Should I just go with it and hope she's ok tomorrow and isn't missing breastfeeding to much or should I be trying to get her to eat more? Not sure how I can do this though...

working like yourself and dd is about the same age. Has your little one just had the MMR jab ? Went to doctor and according to NHS website MMR jab can set off a reaction which reduces appetite. DD has just had this and is off food and BF loads despite the fact she only has feeds at night normally. Decided not to worry and let her have feeds if she needs it. Have you tried giving her cold/soft foods. Yoghurt/banana seems to be her favourite food ?. Good luck
