period while breastfeeding

I just want to ask if anyone experienced irregular periods while breastfeeding. I gave birth to my son 4 monthes ago and got my first period 16 days ago and today its back-I am really worried .With my daughter I had no period till she was 9 monthes old. I have to mention that I exclusively BF and that he feeds at night as well.

Ive had 3 children and breastfeed all of them until at least 14 months and with all of them I had periods right from the beginning, everyone else I know didnt have periods at all, I think there is nothing to worry about.

having period really doesnt bother me its just the fact that it is every 2 weeks and lasts a week thats what gets on my nerves

Kellymom has some info. If your periods return before 6 months p.p. it's more likely that you start menstruating before you start ovulating, which can make a difference, I'd imagine.
