I'm sat here expressing my morning milk off, i'm about to go to work. My DD is nearly 18 months old and she feeds x2 a day - first thing in the morning and just before bed. I managed to get twice the amount of milk when I pumped last night when I got home from work. I don't do this too often,, so its surprised me, I though i'd have more morning milk.

Is it common for an 18 month old to take more breastmilk in the evening?

At 14 months I have found that I get twice as much in the evening now. I noticed the morning amount dwindling a month ago and started pumping a second time around 6.30pm and I got loads more so now I seem to just pump in the evening and only do the morning if it's not enough.
