Burning nipple-thrush?

DD is 2 weeks today. My nipple of my right breast is extremely sore, tender to touch and I have burning sensations in it all the time, but especially when she first latches on. I don't think it's a latch issue because the nipple is not cracked or bleeding and the pain eases very quickly once she's on. DD has a white tounge BUT I can't work out if it's milk or thrush, though I think it's the latter. If it is thrush, do I see an OOH gp tomorrow or wait until Monday?

Breastfeeding Network has some leaflets you can download here that might help.

I think if the white doesn't rub off its more likely to be thrush than milk.
