Sippy cup - any recommendations?

Hello. I'm seeking recommendations for a good sippy cup to start my DD 5.5 months on. She is EBF, but has always take a bottle of expressed milk as a top up in the evenings, so I know she's fine with bottles, but would really like to try to get to her to sip at some water from a cup, as I think it will be helpful alongside introducing solids.

Tommee tippee all the way for me. They don't tend to leak and you can take them out and about tooSmile

We have a doidy cup, but then my son has never really had a bottle (tried it 3 times and he wasn't convinced so we gave up!) so the ones that are supposed to be like a bottle don't help us.

tommee tippee first cup worked well for both of mine. You can use it with the lid off as they get better at drinking from it so it lasts for a few years

Another vote for tommie tippie. Great simple design and cheap. But it did take ages for our ebf DS to drink properly from it. Nothing to do with the cup though just the concept!

Anything without a valve in! another vote to tommee tippee - cheapest at superdrug, I found. About 60p??

Although at the early stages we also used beakers with straws attached - you know the sort of thing - which is another useful skill. Soon the straws get chewed, though.

Thanks everyone. I'll try the Tommee Tippee for starters. Good tip about the valve.
