We have been doing no offer/no refuse since he was 15 months so that's clearly not a goer.

I am experiencing serious back pain in this pregnancy and I am finding it painful to feed him. He only feeds now from one side, at night time, some mornings and as a sleep aid on days I am home with him. I doubt he is getting much nutrition yet I hate saying no to him. He says "one more, mama" and "choose boo, please" and I am a sucker...

How do I start to make the process happen?

Could you OH getup in the mornings with him. We did this gradualy with DD and DH would offer her a cup of milk instead, she never has eaten much breakfast.

You could try breaking the sleep aid habbit by taking him out for a sleep in the pram or car if he'll sleep that way.

The last one to go for us was the before betime feed which was when i was PG but further on then you as my milk dried up a bit and she started to losse interest I was probably just under 4months PG at the time. DD was older though so easier to distracted by then.
