I've just expressed my first bottle - a whole 3 ounces! But can't find any information anywhere about how much milk to give in a feed for a 5 week year old. Can anyone help me?

I think (!) it is about 4 to 5 ounces 5 to 6 times a day (but that's for formula, not EBM).

Wow - 3oz on your first go. I can only get that now after doing it daily for 20wks!

I think that my DS would take about 4oz at this age. It all depends on how often your baby feeds and their pattern of feeding. DS feeds very little in the afternoon but loads in the morning and evening for example.

So I think it's a bit of trial and error really.
