Yes it's fine - I have been asked that question before so I had researched it

GeorginaA · 31/10/2003 13:36

pupuce is it okay to take if you're pregnant or is that a no no?

(she says as dh and ds generously shares their cold with her...)

pupuce · 31/10/2003 15:57

I think it is OK but on that one I am not 100% sure....

pie · 31/10/2003 16:03

According to this news article its not safe during pregnancy.

pupuce · 31/10/2003 16:06

Thanks Pie !

GeorginaA · 31/10/2003 16:08

Thank you pie, I've been avoiding it just in case anyway...

Is Olbas oil/Karvol in my room to help me breathe at night safe or is that "dodgy" too do you know?

jasper · 31/10/2003 23:28

yes it's fine but there is NO evidence it works so don't waste your money.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Georgina A - you can get Karvol that's suitable for babies after 3 months, but my doctor said I could use it for my baby before 3 months when she had a cold as long as i didn't put it directly on her clothes or bedding, just on a tissue in the same room, so i guess it's ok.
