I tried out a few and found a regular feather (so you can plump and shape it) pillow MUCH better. Plus you can use it afterwards.

My DS was in the NICU for 17 days after birth and in there they provided the My Brest Friend pillow which I found so useful I bought one for when we went home.

You can get a V pillow from Argos for £10 which is loads cheaper than some of the expensive breastfeeding pillows. The midwives at the MLU I went to recommended them to me and I found it really helpful.

I too had a My Brest Friend and later on used a Widgey pillow which doubled up as a back support when DS started sitting upright but still needed some support.

mamaesi - just seen this after i updated my old thread. i brought the breast friend one and it just great, DS doesn't slip down, i don't have to keep adjusting it/hi, also managed hands free feeding for the first time. Had a V pillow before that i didn't get on with.
