Just wondering if these are the best bottle to use for transitioning from breast to bottle or doesn't it really matter?

Thats it, short and sweet :)

I don't think it matters. Some posters here swear by NUK, others breastflow, some have success on TT or advent. If we do a straw poll on this board, I would guess the best, and most common, 'bottle' to transition to is a cup. Grin

I tried introducing a bottle at 6wo and failed miserably with the CTN bottles but he'll take a NUK bottle. The same with the CTN dummies, when he'll take an Asda's own brand one. Like lilham says, different brands work for different babies Smile

Ds was exclusively breastfed until 7 months, when I went back to work. He coped fine with transition to CTN bottles, despite the fact he has to have a notoriously unpleasant tasting hypoallergenic formula, so they get a vote of confidence from me. But I didn't try any others so he may well have been fine with any. Hard to pick though isn't it, and they aren't exactly cheap

Oh i'd not really thought about the NUK or breastflow ones. I just assumed that the CTN would be the automatic way to go. I'll have a look at them all though, thanks.

Unfortunately due to work and uni i'm going to have to put the baby onto bottles earlier than i'd like. That said I had so much trouble bfing DS that i'm going to have to play it by ear I think.
