Cows milk at 10 months

MadameJ · 28/10/2011 20:32

My DD starts nursery next month, she is BF and eats well.

Nursery originally wanted her to have formula in the day whilst she was there but I really dont see the need (I will continue BF'ing morning, afternoon and evening).

At snack time would water or cows milk be better for her (I am sure she would prefer milk), I really don't want to express as I really struggle.

I know that cows milk shouldn't be their "main drink" but would it be OK if combined with BF'ing - Sorry if I am being really dense but the whole Nursery thing is really stressing me out Sad

I reckon fine, she will still have BM and if she eats well then it should be ok. How many days a week will age be there?

She will only be there 2.5 days and in all honesty she only really BF's about 4 times per day now so she will miss 2 when I am working (although she will probably make up for these during the evening/night). I am sure I am overthinking everything but she is PFB and I really don't want to go back to work (but thats a whole new thread Sad)

I would just use cow's milk in those circumstances too.
