Has anyone used Brown's bottles? I've been told these are very good for babies who get a lot of trapped wind but would like someone elses opinion before I splash out.

I have used them since I started dd on bottles at 2 months (she is now 9 months). A friend recommended them, because they have a special valve which reduces the chance that the baby will get wind by sucking in a lot of air. They are also supposed to reduce the risk of inner ear damage from all the sucking. They work well and I have been very happy with them. The only downside is that they have more parts to clean. Make sure that you use the little brush that comes with them to clean out the hole in the green rubber bit and the neck of the valve.

Thanks. Have bought a couple and will let you know if they make things better....

What did you think bunnyrabbit? I think they are brilliant. If you have a dishwasher you can just bung all the bits in and they come out fine without having to fiddle about with the little brush.

I think they're excellent. Have stopped using Infacol altogether.

Didn't know about the dishwasher. I was washing by hand and sterilising... might try dishwasher.

DS is much happier, although still a bit on the windy side!!
