Formula and wind!

At the moment, we feed our baby one bottle of formula in the night. He seems to suffer with really bad wind throughout the night and in the day (I think a bit less in the day) I wandered if anybody knows if the formula is more likely to make my baby have bad wind or colic. If I decide to move entirely to formula is it likely to cause my baby to have more of a problem with wind. Be great if anyone has switched from breast feeding to formula and has noticed any difference in the windyness of their baby.

togowhe, why do you think your baby has wind?

My baby is breast fed, has never been ff, but has awful wind. Some babies are just windier than others. From what I've heard, wind is more common a problem with ff babies, so I doubt giving more bottles would help. you could try using infacol to help bring the wind up.
