How long can I keep bm in the fridge for once I've taken it out of the freezer?

I put some frozen breast milk in the fridge at 10am, it's not fully defrosted yet, how long does it keep in the fridge?

According to the BfN leaflet on safe storage of expressed milk, it will keep for 12 hours.

Is it 12 hours once its defrosted or as soon as it goes in the fridge?
