Just wondering as ds is 15 wo, started feeding very frequently during the night. Cries while coming off again/ on again... I'm getting stressed!! His night feeds were always very calm and straight back to sleep but now he wakens me, dh and sometimes the other dcs with his crying. I do know that he us teething so us it just that? He wants more frequent feeds during the day too, but makes himself sick sucking and biting his fingers. Very little sleep so not thinking straight- any suggestions- how do I know the difference- or am I just full of cr•p???!!!!

Not read all the posts but my daughter has just come out the four month sleep regression www.babysleepsite.com/how-we-sleep/4-month-old-sleep-regression/
She's five months now and it's finally passing I think fingers crossed.

Some light at the end of the tunnel ?? We too had better night but after bf at 11pm I topped up with another 3 oz ebm. So got some sleep- only one feed during the night!Grin however my boobs were bursting this morning!! Gotta go - feed impending!

Oooh ooh ooh!

Last night we woke her to feed her at 12, then she slept until 8.45! Brilliant!

Turning the monitor off has really helped! Grin (Actually it's on an alarm thing, so if she shouts it beeps, rather than every noise waking me)

Jealous much!!!! Grin

My sentiments exactly!!!

Room for another one? DD has ALWAYS fed every 2 hours at night - apart from the very beginning when it was hourly.... so no change there....

BUT she has gone from 3 or 4 hourly during the day to hourly with naps about every 1 1/2 hours rather than 2 hourly. They are still 30-40min long naps though.

So.... growth spurt?

LittleWaveyLines · 19/10/2011 18:34

oh and she's 16 weeks

ScaryFairy28 · 19/10/2011 19:16

Sounds like it Smile

Good grief I'm tired.

Tried a dreamfeed last night - just meant an extra feed! She still woke up on cue for the next feed, just had no 3 hour stretch at the beginning of the night....

Mampig · 20/10/2011 13:01

Back down to 1 feed yay!! Stuck with a small ebm top up- 2 oz last night after his 11 pm feed and he slept to 5 am!! Grin here's hoping it lasts!! xo how's everyone else?

Seriously struggling today ladies just seem to be drowning Sad. Dd(15wks) still not sleeping more than an hour at a time without shouting out. Fed at 9pm, 2am, 4 ish and then again at 6 but waking constantly in between am shattered Sad

Mampig · 20/10/2011 13:43

That was me about 3/4 days ago- I think I've got sick because of it! Succumbed to a top up before bed as I mention and things have settled. Did it for my sake as I was getting zero sleep, I'll take away the top up in a few days when I've recovered x

I think the last 2 nights have been marginally better, still feeding often, but she has always done that. At least in between feeds she sleeps. Fingers crossed I haven't jinxed her!
