Can you spare a tenner to support donor breastmilk banking in the UK? All donations doubled...

For those who have missed this, the UK Association of Milk Banking (UKAMB) is doing a fundraising drive to raise enough money to buy a new exhibition stand (the old one has out of date research on it) and money to buy exhibition space at medical conferences where we can explain to paediatricians how donor breastmilk can help the babies in their care.

www.makesachange.co.uk, an organic and fair trade baby store, has offered to double every £1 donated to the value of £2000 which would allow us to buy the stand and exhibit at a good number of places next year. This would make a huge difference to getting medics to understand why they should consider donor milk for their sick and premature babies.

We have had over £100 donated so far (THANK YOU!!) so we need another 90-odd MNers to spare a tenner, which will all be doubled. Can you help?

If you would like to find out more about donor milk banking, here's the UKAMB website: www.ukamb.org or feel free to ask away here. :)
