5 mth old crying during bottle feeds / extremely windy

My 5 mth formula fed DS has recently started crying and writhing around during most feeds. He starts off ok but after only a couple of ounces he starts to cry / wriggle / stiffen his body and becomes extremely upset. I break off to wind him and when he calms down try again but the same thing happens and he just gets more and more stressed. Sometimes he only manages about half his feed, sometimes more but it takes an awful long time and is a stressful experience for us both.
Not sure whether it is linked but he is a very flatulent baby!
Any suggestions please ?

You could try a dose of Infacol before each feed. Worked for my windy one!

Could he be teething? My daughter goes off bottles and food when teething.

I did try Infacol in the early days for his wind but didn't seem that effective so dropped it. Will maybe give it another try. Thanks
