DS is 9 wks. Vomits all the time. So sick of constantly changing his and my clothes or white stains if I'm out and haven't got a spare, and washing bloody muslins.

Half the time bloody hate tandem feeding too, makes my teeth itch.

Having crap day.

Siorry fir brevuty + cocking typos, tandemming at keyboard Hmm

I feel your pain. Ds is 16mths and has pretty mich stopped with the puking, but boy, can a little boob milk go a long way?

Have you tried dairy free at all? Some people it works well for.

belledechocchipcookie · 28/09/2011 13:19

Have you taken him to the GP to check for reflux?

DitaVonCheese · 28/09/2011 13:23

Thanks :)

Already mostly dairy/choc free to help with green poo.

16 mp? Shock Thought it would get better at 12 wks

Not sure re reflux, think it is oversupply/letdown issue tbh. Waiting for it to calm down.

Also need to FIND AND KILL slowly dying electronic thing in this room Hmm

Oh, yy, it got better as time went on. He olnly does it now when on a growth spurt or if teething, and he had full on reflux complete with agonising acid/ph test type thing, so not just the normal 'spitting up' I 'enjoyed' with ds1.

Can be worth getting latch checked over too by v. experienced bf counsellor. Even if you know what you RE DOING (WHICH YOU CLEARLY DO!) Oops, typo mad here. Only mono feeding, so amateur Wink

My son was a puker, no reflux, he just guzzled until I had pancakes for breasts. Hmm I hope he does calm down soon, it must be exhausting for you.

This. Goddy god. 17 weeks tmrw now and still merrily posseting ALL THE BLOODY TIME. Seems to be no pattern/reason for it.

Still at least tandemming isn't pissing me off as much :)

He posseted on DD's face y'day Blush

I had this when DD2 was born, caused by massive oversupply. I have heard that oversupply is common when tandem feeding. I used to get DD1 to feed a couple of seconds on either side so that DD2's head didn't get blown off by my let down. Things started calming down for us around 10 weeks and I think it was around 3 months DD2 stopped puking all the time.

DitaVonCheese · 20/11/2011 13:50

Thanks Eau. I really thought it would calm down around 12 weeks but he's still going (not sure whether you saw my update which bumped the thread). I've read up on reflux and he is freaking enormous but otherwise doesn't sound like that so I'm assuming it's just oversupply/fast letdown - both were impressive with DD but obviously exacerbated now. Sigh.

It doesn't seem to bother him at all, it's just so bloody random. He can go hours without puking then vomit every few minutes. Also seems random as to whether it's immediately after/during a feed or hours after Hmm

I've read it can be a sign of distress, but he seems such a cheerful chap.
