dd is biting me while feeding help!!!!!!!!!!

can anyone give me advice as my 10mth dd has started to bite me while feeding,ive tried pulling away and a few stern no's and she is still doing it,i breastfed my other 2 so im new to this and my poor boobs are getting quite sore...help!!!!!

Try pulling her into your boob so she can't breathe this worked with my dd. shes gone through that loads but i think it was something to do with her teething tho.Failing that take her off and finish the feed,put her down away from you and she may get the message.good luck

The two techniques agalch both work, although they do take a little while. Stern 'no's are often funny to little ones, annoyingly, so I'd just either press her in to your boob (briefly) of put her down, quickly, and walk off. Either one needs to be done right away.

Or you can try to spot when she's about to bite (she can't be sucking when she's about to bite), and pull her off then.

Both my DSes went through biting phases, but it passed.

hi everyone thanks for your advicei'll try these tonight,i agree notquitecockney that my stern no's are just fun to her and the link u gave me oxymoron was helpful to i shall let you know how iget on..cheers...
