Reflux? Or just normal vomiting up milk?

DD2 is 14 weeks and exclusively breastfed. She vomits some milk after every feed and often in between. Occasionally she brings up loads, but normally about half an egg cup full, maybe, bit hard to judge. She is also v dribbly and has to wear a bib all the time.
Is this normal? DD1 never brought milk up, so its hard to compare, seems like she is sick a lot...

DS was like that. He was sick all the time, but did fine on it and was growing well. He wasn't upset about it at all. Apparently it is called being a happy spitter. I didn't do anything about it as it didn't really cause him any problems.

Then I had DD1. She definitely had reflux. She was sick, less than DS, but was in pain with it. She was unhappy a lot of the time and would cry and writhe with pain. We ended up going down the medication route with her and it made a massive difference.

So if your DD2 isn't in pain and is gaining weight, I'd say just leave it alone. It's a pain to have to do laundry all the time though. With DS, he'd go through muslins and bibs like they were going out of fashion!

Happy spitter! Grin. You're right she doesn't seem to be in pain, but the poor old washing machine must be wondering what has hit it.
