Painful squeezing

My 7mo lo has started squeezing my milk ducts when feeding. Does anyone else have this? What does it mean? I am wondering because I am worried she isn't getting enough milk and she is trying to force more out. It is actually quite painful tbh.

I think it's just something they do rather than a comment on your milk supply, my 8mo is pinching lots, it's driving me crazy and I'm sure it has no practical purpose.

Sorry not much help but you do have my sympathy.

But she is defo squeezing the milk ducts themselves. Each in turn. Hmm

both of mine did the squeezing thing. i just used to keep taking their hand away

They get to the point where they realise they can make it come out faster so they do - just because they can, not becaue there's a problem with your supply. I just remove their hand or tuck it under my arm.

DS still does it occasionally now at 20 months.
