Leaving baby overnight

Is this possible when breast feeding or a complete no no?

Im going to a wedding on Saturday night and have the opportunity to stay over at the hotel. If i dont stay over Im not sure Ill go as its a long drive to get back.

I cant take the baby with me and was wondering how the logistics of leaving him would work.

Would I just get toooooo engorged to enjoy myself? Would my milk supply really suffer missing so many feeds?

Harvey happily takes a bottle although not as happily as he takes a boob but would a full night of bottle feeds have a detrimental effect?

Any input/experience would be great!

Beccarollo - it is perfectly possible to leave your baby overnight when breastfeeding (I worked night shift with baby age 14 weeks). You may well find you might need to express for comfort though.

He will be 7 weeks - will supply etc all be ok at this stage?

As long as you express you will be fine. Engorgment of the breasts can reduce production of milk and be really uncomfortable, but one night will not cause long term problems. You couldn't go all night without expressing milk off either to store or discard. Baby will be fine. Enjoy
