Avent or Tommee Tippee??

Which one would you recommend??

I'm planning on bf'ing, but will be moving onto mixed feeding as will be going back to work. As I'm due over Christmas I want everything in just in case!!

Used Avent last time and was fine, but just wondering.

Tommee simply for the little canisters of powder you can sit inside the bottle. And they are more boob shaped. There are now others on the Market fairly recently mam and nuby or something I think so go look in a big boots!

we used tommee tippee closer to nature with both our children whilst mixed feeding, think they're marvellous! the wide neck of the bottle makes them easy to clean too. as MayDay says the little canisters for milk are fantastic.

I have formula fed all 3 of my daughters and am a big Tommee Tippee fan but I've never tried Avent.

Avent when he was small, as the teats on the tommee tippee ones were too wide, so he guzzled, then sicked most of it straight back up. At four months, we're now starting to move onto tommee tippee, which he can cope with a lot better now.

Nuby Natural Touch are the ones I have. They are like a nipple, think they are simillar to Tommee Tippee ones but slightly cheaper. DS has been mixed fed and he's had no problems switching between the bottle and breast.

DS was 4 weeks premature and tiny but he's always managed to feed from the bottle.

FWIW I always found that Avent leaked while feeding!!?? I use Tommee tippee for ebm and they are brill! Also no probs with nipple confusion either

Avent as you can then fit handles to the bottles you already have, then soft zippy cup bits then hard sippy cup bits so they adapt really well right on through. It also made it very easy to transfer him off a teat and on to the zippy cup bits as the bottle stayed the same.
