Feeding expressed milk - tips to improve technique??

Hi

My partner just fed baby 1st expressed bottle. Great news - he took the bottle without any protestations! Was wondering if anyone had any advice about how to improve technique? There seemed to be a steady stream of milk coming down both sides of baby's mouth during feed and at the end when he sat up he spat / brought up quite a bit.

My partner had been feeding him holding him in front of him & was using a tommee tippee closer to nature bottle.

he may just be a dribbly feeder when feeding from a bottle some breastfed babies are. Try a slow flow teat.

Thanks! Was using a slow flow teat - maybe he just needs practice?
