Have tried googling this but not found the answer even on the bible that is kellymom so hope someone can help me.

I have to go back to work for two days in a couple of weeks time. I have not had much luck expressing - can only get 1/2 an ounce out at a time. If I keep this and pump a few times across the day can I add each 1/2 ounce together and freeze what I've collected at the end of the day or is this not advisable?

Also, does pumping get easier? I.e. Do you get more out the more you pump or am I destined to have only small amounts each time? (am using medela electric - can't get anything at all with a hand pump!)

Yes you can add it together.

You may well find you get more as you?re pumping instead of a feed rather than in addition to. Try to be relaxed, and look at video or photos of your baby to help stimulate let down.

Thanks cosmosis.

Hmm relaxed you say... DS feeds every two hours and have his 2yo sis to entertain too. Should prob be pumping now while both asleep shouldn't I?!

Just make sure you put the time and date of the first pump on the bottle/bag if you are mixing them together x
