Tips for healing nipple?

My 13m dd bit me a couple of weeks ago and drew blood and ever since I've had an open wound on my nipple. It looks fairly healthy but isn't healing up. So far I've been using Lansinoh and trying to feed slightly more often on the other side, but it is sore at feeds and dd's teeth still get involved sometimes (she's teething really badly at the moment).

Any tips for how to speed up the healing process and make sure this minor issue doesn't become a problem?

Thanks

I have found a jelonet dressing to be useful.

I think your hv / gp can prescribe the dressing on the nhs.
