how soon can I start expressing?

dd2 is two weeks and I wonder if it's too soon to start expressing? I think my milk is pretty well established, helped by the fact that I am tandem feeding dd1 so I never actually stopped bf.
I am going out on Saturday (well, sort of...) so would like to leave some then so I don't have to keep popping back home.
TIA

I did it after two weeks. No problems. Don't do it too often or it can increase your milk supply and junior will get a big squirt in his face! Is simply a matter of trial and error though. My LO is nearly 5 months and my milk production is so efficient that I struggle to express before a feed is due. I now simply let him have formula if I go out and express when I get back to keep the old milk production going. I then freeze what I express in order to use it when I stop b/fing in a couple of weeks time.

I started about 2 wks too. Had no problems if I just went for a couple of ounces a day. But when I went all at it to get more, I ended up engorged and sore and DS got too much milk too fast!

I started a few hors after dts were born, as they were prem, in special care and had to be tube fed.
