Cluster feeding- how to manage which side

Dd2 is two weeks old and has two or three sessions a day that I would describe as cluster feeds, two hours of on off feeding before eventually satisfied and sleeping. How do I handle which side to offer each time. She prefers the fast flow at the beginning, but I don't want her to miss out on the good stuff at the end of feeds. No one is concerned about her, but she was a 9.5 lb baby who hadn't regained her birth weight at ten days.

I asked my mw about this and she said if the baby is feeding that much it won't really matter which side. She said if one starts to feel fuller than the other then use that one.

That's good, eglu, that's the theory I'd worked on, mainly because I lose track a bit which side I did last anyway Blush thank you!

I lose track too. I wear a little bead bracelet and swap it over, although don't always remember that either. I blame the sleep deprivation
