When does milk stop?

I have breastfed my DS since birth to 13 months. He is now 19 months old and I am still producing milk at random times of the day and particuliary when i am warm. Is this normal? Are my hormones up the left? He has not suckled since 13months, not even attempted. How come I have not dried up yet?

i have heard that once established it can take ages for your supply to stop. So tis normal but can't say how long it will go on.

Don't fret re hormones. By a year of bf your hormones are virtually the same as a non lactating woman.

I stopped bf dd when she was 3.4. I definitely had milk there for at least 6 months, maybe longer. But she's 4.2 now and the milk dried up a while ago. It's normal for it to take a while.
