Green poo in 24 week old

He's breastfed, not had solids yet.
He's alert, very happy, feeding well etc, but he's gone from pooing once or twice a week to going 4-6 times a day and it's very green and smells fruity.
He had a bit of a cold last week, but not bad.
Should I be worried?

In the past mine had green poo when being breastfed. I can't remember it happening at 6 months old though !! If you are really concerned speak to HV. If he has had a bad cold, you might find that it is interferring with the way he is feeding off you. He might not be latching on correctly for a little time and only get the first part of the milk ?????

Could you try a different hold for the baby for a while ? It might be the latch with the baby for a while during this cold ??

This is very likely to be a sign he is fighting off an infection - this causes a bit of 'intestinal hurry' and the poo comes out green.

If he is well and thriving, no problems, really!
